3. RMA Evaluation & Defect Assessment Process
All warranty claims are subject to acomprehensive evaluation process. Grower’s Choice reserves the exclusive rightto inspect, test, and assess each returned unit to determine the nature andcause of the reported failure before any repair, replacement, or warrantydecision is rendered.
3.1 Evaluation CriteriaUpon receipt of a returned unit, Grower’sChoice technical staff will conduct a thorough examination to classify thedefect under one of the following categories.
Factory Defect — A verified failure in materials orworkmanship originating from the manufacturing process, covered under warranty.
User Error — Damage or malfunction resulting fromimproper installation, misuse, overloading, or failure to follow productguidelines; not covered under warranty.
Environmental Damage — Failure attributable to adverseoperating conditions such as excessive heat, moisture, chemical exposure, orpower surges; not covered under warranty.
Improper Maintenance — Failure resulting from a lack ofrequired maintenance, use of incompatible components, or neglect; not coveredunder warranty.
NOTE: Grower’s Choice’s determination following evaluation is final. If no defect is identified upon inspection, the claimant will be responsible for all round-trip shipping charges, and the unit will be returned as-is.
3.2 RMA Processing Timeline
Please allow up to seven (7) business daysfor RMA processing upon receipt of the returned unit. Grower’s Choice willnotify the claimant of the evaluation outcome and next steps via email.
4. RMA Submission Requirements
Prior to shipping any unit, the claimantmust submit a formal RMA request to RMA@growersc.com. Submissions that do notinclude all required documentation will not be processed until completeinformation is received. The following are mandatory for all RMA submissions:
1. Proof of Purchase — Must clearly display the purchasedate, the name of the authorized vendor, and the specific item(s) for whichwarranty service is being requested.
2. Product Information — Model number, serial number, anda detailed written description of the observed defect or failure.
3. Photographic or Video Evidence — Visual documentationof the defect is strongly encouraged. Where proof of defect cannot be provided,a return shipping label may be requested; however, if no defect is confirmedupon inspection, round-trip shipping costs will be charged to the claimant. Claimants must not discard, destroy, or cutthe power cords of any product until written authorization to do so has beenreceived from Grower’s Choice via email. Failure to comply may result inwarranty denial.
5. Shipping Policy & Claimant Responsibilities
Grower’s Choice does not assumeresponsibility for any inbound or return shipping charges associated withwarranty claims. All shipping costs, both inbound and outbound, are the soleresponsibility of the claimant, without exception. Claimants may fulfill theirshipping obligations through any of the following methods:
•Provide Own Shipping Label — The claimant may supply aprepaid shipping label for both inbound and return shipments. Labels must beemailed to Grower’s Choice at the time of RMA submission.
•Use Grower’s Choice Shipping Account — The claimant mayelect to ship via Grower’s Choice’s carrier account. All applicable shippingcharges will be billed to the claimant and must be paid in full prior toshipment. Rates will be provided upon request.
•In-Person Drop-Off and Pick-Up — The claimant may dropoff the product at Grower’s Choice’s facility and pick up the repaired orreplacement unit in person. Drop-off and pick-up must be coordinated in advanceby contacting Grower’s Choice to schedule an appointment.
5.1 Shipping Accountability
Upon dropping off the return shipment withthe carrier, the claimant must photograph the drop-off receipt and email it toGrower’s Choice immediately. This documentation serves as confirmation ofhandoff and releases the claimant from liability in the event of carrier loss.Claims submitted without drop-off confirmation will result in severe delays.For in-person drop-offs, the claimant will receive a confirmation receipt atthe time of delivery.It is the claimant’s responsibility tomonitor inbound and outbound shipment tracking at all times. Any delays,exceptions, or irregular tracking activity must be reported to Grower’s Choiceimmediately. Do not wait multiple days before reporting a shipping concern, asdelays in notification may affect the outcome of the claim.
6. Warranty Limitations & Exclusions
This warranty is limited to repair orreplacement of the defective product at Grower’s Choice’s sole discretion,following a completed evaluation. Under no circumstances shall Grower’s Choicebe liable for:
•Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages of anynature.
•Damage or injury to other products, equipment,machinery, buildings, or infrastructure.
•Loss of revenue, loss of profit, lost productivity, orany financial loss arising from product failure or downtime.
•Any inconvenience or costs incurred as a result ofproduct unavailability during the warranty process. This warranty gives the purchaser specificlegal rights. Other rights may vary by jurisdiction. Nothing in this policyshall be construed to limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicablelaw.
